I read the post here and didn’t find the answer/ solution.
I add the Mailer Lite HTML code for embed form to the Newsletter element.
Code was excepted. Save. View. all fine
Add incomplete Email address add hit submit. A new white page opened with a few lines of code.
Second try. Add correct Email address. Hit submit button. No Error Message. But new page open with a thank you message.
Adding the same code as Raw HTML to the tagDiv Composer page and the following happen.
After loading the page in the browser everything was as it should be.
The MailerLite Code generated a Newsletter form. After entering a incomplete Email address, the error message showed up as a popup or modal on the page. perfect.
After entering a correct Email address and push submit, a popup Modal displayed the thank you message without leaving the page.
Without the tagDiv Newsletter element, Mailerlite HTML code is working perfect.
How do I get Mailerlite HTML code working using the tagDiv Newsletter element?
Hi Anamaria, the latest version, 11.4.1
I managed to take and upload screenshots.
First one is how the part of the webpage looks like with an email typo on
our test site:
https://paste.pics/2a8c7993da8e13bdb26fafc900b00334
when the error is submit with the submit-button you see this page,
please note the url:
https://paste.pics/b441196518781c8d90424d471219f066
the last screenshot is when the submission was successful. The
Thank You page should be a modal or popup on the same page. In
our case it is a new page with a different url:
https://paste.pics/c11caa0c5f25cd226f7b9c1888656550
As I mention in previous post. The embed code is working perfect when used in
tagDiv RawHTML element. But that is not what we wanted to achieve.
Hope it helps to understand and find a working solution.
Andrew
Hi Anamaria,
thanks for your answer.
Raw Html is an option, but I prefer to use tagDiv Composer Newsletter element, due to styling and a few other options.
If tagDiv Team does not have a way to get it to work, will they fix it in a future Newspaper theme update?
Have a successful day
Andrew
Hello Anamaria,
thanks for contacting development. Since Newspaper is using Modals, there are no needs for browser tabs anymore.
On top it is more customer/ user friendly to keep such message (error / thankyou) on the same page as the form.
Hopeful it will be possible at a future update.
Thanks for your effort and time
Hello, when I copy the HTML code from Mailer Lite into the Newsletter Plugin element the default newsletter form disappeared but the new form does not show up.
Please advise how to get mailer lite working in the newsletter plugin element.
Thanks
Hello,
The problem is solved in version 12 of the theme.
I recommend you update the theme on a staging website and make sure that you activate the tagDiv plugins activated to keep the website’s look.
Before the update, please fully backup all files and the database if something goes wrong. => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/.
Also, please let us know about errors when you try to update the theme; also, please disable all extra plugins.
Thank you!
Hello,
I have updated to v12 and deleted then recopied the HTML from MailerLite but there has been no change.
I tested creating a new Newsletter element but this also did not work.
Thanks
