Hi,
With the new WordPress update, my menu only works in editor mode. When I save, only the home page and calendar page are accessible. The search doesn’t work anymore either (shows as xxx.de/#).
The footer background graphic has also disappeared.
Any ideas what to do? Nothing has been changed in the configuration of the plug-ins and everything worked perfectly up until then.
Hi Anamaria,
thanks for the quick response. I deactivated all plugins (except for the TagDiv), deleted the cache, and then deactivated caching.
No changes.
Hi,
It seems that you have a lot of cache there that interferes https://i.imgur.com/xXCxtdO.png Please try to delete the object cache files -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Yes, I even tried a newly built menu. In tag div editor mode, it is displayed without any problems and expands as desired. The same applies to the previous menu.
When I leave editor mode, the mouseover on the search shows xxx.de/# and only the page links work. Category links or individual links do not open the drop-down menu.
Here you can see that everything is displayed perfectly in the composer. The menu opens when clicked and the background graphic in the footer is visible.

I was able to identify the error. Apparently there was an update to wp-rocket shortly before the WordPress update (sorry, the site is simply faster with it than with your recommended caching plugin).
There was obviously a problem there. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to exclude the footer and header from caching.
Hi,
Unfortunately, I can not access your screenshots -> https://i.imgur.com/svqpHvV.png
Also, we use WP Rocket, and this error doesn’t appear for us. Also, maybe you have this option enabled, which can cause the issue: https://i.imgur.com/vHqKn9Y.png. Please use it asynchronously.
Thank you!
