I have a menu system organized by category, but not all items, categories, or new items show on the category pages. What am I doing wrong?
Here’s my front page. Carjacking and Efforts to Transform Rich East and Public Health articles are recent and have the category Park Forest, in addition to others:
Category “Park Forest” which does not show the Carjacking and Rich East articles:
Note that the first/main article is not on the category page, nor is the Rich East article. Both have “Park Forest” as a category.

Have you tried to see that this issue is not caused by a plugin conflict?
Usually, this issue is caused by a plugin conflict, please do a test using the theme plugins, clear all cache and see if the problem persists.
Are you referring to the fact that not all posts are displayed or not all categories are displayed?
if not all posts are displayed, then, please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the block and let the offset field empty with no space, no value and see the results: https://www.screencast.com/t/peVbVmUDE.
