Hi!
I’ve been busy building a new website (based on an old one) and both websites use the Newspaper theme.
The new website is now ready to go live but just one more thing, migrating al the posts from the old website to the new one. When i use the WordPress importer to import the XML all seems to be going fine but the Featured images for every post won’t show. How do i fix this? I tried the plugin “regenerate thumbnails” but no effect. Could it have perhaps something to do with the old website using WP Bakery page builder and the new one TagDiv composer? Seems unlikely because it only concerns the featured image for every post that is not showing.

There is a conflict between TagDiv Composer and WP Bakery.
Disable the lazy load animation: https://www.screencast.com/t/O5pfqQdb, delete the cache and see the results.

I’ve tried disabling lazy load (it was already disabled) so i enabled and disabled it again while saving the settings and deleting the cache. Unfortunately no result. Is there something else we can try?

I can see that in the code you do not have a featured image or a link with any image. So, please try to set up the image again as in this link and see the changes: https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/

This is of course a good solution however i need to do this for like a hundred posts. Isn’t there another way?
And i don’t understand why this featured image doesn’t appear. I’ve exported all my posts from a different website (also using Newspaper theme). and imported them in the new website. So the images should be there right?

Hello Jacco!
If it is working while you set up again for one post, then you should apply it manually for all. It depends how you’ve imported, so the issue could be here while you export-import them.

Ok… Can you please write something of a checklist about exporting and importing so i can retrace my steps to see what i’ve did wrong? So i know for in the future.

And i also made sure attachments would also be exported and imported

Please try to export Only Media, then Only Posts and import the 2 files(xml) in the new website.

I first thought this was because TagDiv composer plugin wasn’t active but it doesn’t change when i activate it
