Hi mayaguez,
Depends for what you want to use the mobile theme plugin:
a. Mobile – only for mobile version
b. Mobile + AMP (for mobile and amp version, in this way you’ll have the same layout )
c. AMP use the mobile theme only as a template for am and for mobile version you’ll use the responsive version.
Thank you!
Hi,
Using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders or shortcodes ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/ho41rUl.png and this content will be display on mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme (to get the same layout as on desktop on mobile) -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
These options are like this:
Mobile -> the mobile theme will apply only on mobile version.
Mobile + amp -> it will apply on both and it will have the same layout.
Amp -> the mobile theme plugin layout will be use only for amp version.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you want to have the same design as on desktop, the you need to disable the mobile theme plugin, or set it only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/fpoFrsA.png and make sure that this option is disable -> https://i.imgur.com/HW7QGdl.png
In this way you’ll have the responsive version. Also if you have Newspaper v10.3.7 then you can create a different content for mobile using tagDiv Composer -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Thank you!
1. Will the responsive v have a sidebar and social counter widget?
Question:
2. with the limitations of this mobil theme plugin why would people use it? Have people opted to use instead of the responsive v? Why is it better than the responsive v?
3. How do you get people to go from your mobil to your Main website to see your sidebar and social counter widget?

Hi,
1. The responsive version has all the desktop elements, but the sidebar will be set under the main content, but now there are options on row and columns that you can invert the order of columns and rows to can set as you like on mobile, here is a quick guide -> https://tagdiv.com/flexibility-rows-columns-newspaper-theme/ also here is a similar topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/reverse-columns-on-mobile/
2. For the moment this is faster then responsive version, but now we work to a better version for mobile, a version where you can set your content using tagDiv Composer, this was added in this update and the featured is quite new, it will be add to it a lot of options and you can do a different without affecting the desktop and keep a nice layout, if you want you can test it, here is a quick guide of it -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. They can do this only if they use the option from there mobiles to see the desktop version, or if you are use the responsive version or new mobile page from this update.
Hope this will help!
Thank you!
Catlin,
I decided to use the responsive version to keep it just like my desktop. (Less complicated). I believe I followed the instructions provided e.g.
1. disable the mobile theme plugin,
2. amp disabled,
3. In Mobil settings, do I enable or disable the Mobil Theme? I have it Enabled but my mobil theme does not display correctly. ???? Can U check with my credentials I sent you under jorgevila550@gmail.com
Thanks

Hi,
Indeed now you do not longer use the mobile theme plugin, but you made a new version for responsive version -> https://i.imgur.com/uor2wdJ.jpg if you want to have the exact same layout and elements set no mobile page -> https://i.imgur.com/ricqexl.png this will be the results.
Thank you!
Hi,
All these can be done using tagDiv Composer and selecting the mobile view port -> https://i.imgur.com/qB8GWxg.png
1. Select the element and check the style tab, this will apply per port view -> https://i.imgur.com/0GuphcQ.png
2. For footer menu you can do the same, select it and this time set the text size in general tab -> https://i.imgur.com/b9xF9If.png
3. Us the rights click -> https://i.imgur.com/wZt8vlz.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi mayaguez,
For this you need to click on “Edit with TD Composer” like this https://i.imgur.com/B0EkPLf.png -> https://i.imgur.com/yh0Be9o.jpg then click on any element then click in sidebar on mobile icon -> https://i.imgur.com/nSKoQT1.jpg the results will be -> https://i.imgur.com/QG28T9n.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
You can edit the style from flex elements per device, so you can use tagdiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Aq7labe.png or you can reduce the length but this option is a general one for all devices -> https://i.imgur.com/RL5LQoE.png
The content of this page -> https://puertoricorealestatenews.com/search-puerto-rico-properties/ is not displaying because you are using the mobile theme plugin, and you need to set for pages a separate content in mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/ho41rUl.png
Thank you!
Hi,
Sorry, I understand wrong!
To do this you need to edit the mobile page that you have assigned to this page -> https://i.imgur.com/OP3PPSQ.png select the heard logo select it to center -> https://i.imgur.com/4JpYd2h.png then in style tab set the color and text size -> https://i.imgur.com/75BDhvD.png then you’ll get this results -> https://i.imgur.com/Hp34xdi.png
Hope this will help!
Thank you!
Hi,
On problem 2 on this page https://puertoricorealestatenews.com/search-puerto-rico-properties/ you have a mobile page -> https://i.imgur.com/eGrB1d8.png if you want to have the same layout and content as on desktop, remove the mobile page like this -> https://i.imgur.com/ueP5OSC.png if you want to keep that mobile page, then you need to edit it and set the content you want to display on mobile -> https://i.imgur.com/yLTQP53.png also you can use a copy for desktop page, you can get some more details about the mobile page option in our guide from here -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Hope this will help you! Also check the page and set to no mobile page if you want to have the same content as on desktop.
Hope this will help you!
