Hello,
When using either UberMenu or Mega Menu (plugin to have extra options unlike what comes with theme), the mobile menu shows up on the home page AS WELL AS the responsive “fly-out.”
Above the responsive break point is fine. Uber or Mega replace as intended, but the mobile version is completely duplicated (fly out AND on home page).
What do I need to do here? Thanks.

….but I’m continuing to mess with it, so don’t judge based on what the mobile menu looks like (just in case I went back to the stock menu.
Also, a few more things.
1. Why do the menu links don’t click properly until the second time. When I click a menu to drop it down, it double clicks really quick and doesn’t drop down. Trying on the second time it works flawlessly.
2. How can I integrate the LOGO coming down on the Sticky Menu WITH UBERMENU (If I can get that integrated)?
3. How can I place logo on the fly-out mobile menu?
Thanks, the theme is so good. I’m just having trouble with the menu end of it a little bit. I NEED more options that what is stock (unless I’m missing the menu options in stock somewhere).

Sorry, I keep thinking of more things.
Is there an option to disable the “dropdown” arrow indicators? AND, align the top-level menu item all the way to the left, instead of leaving space there?
Also, why is there no hover or click options for the menu? I notice different browsers come up with different actions in that regard.

I have checked your site and did not found any issues with mobile menu. Did you solved the issue?
1. I guess that you refer to the mobile menu, you have to click to the arrow for parent categories – http://screencast.com/t/kd8pMwKJ as if you click on the category, the link will be loaded. I’m not sure if this is your issue please provide more details.

Hi, no the “duplicate” menu is not solved. I only went back to the stock version of the menu because I couldn’t afford to leave it messed up.
Trust me when I say this: whenever I activate the menu plugin for UberMenu or MegaMenu, it creates BOTH a flyout AND a reg menu on the home page for anything below the responsive break point.
Something in the theme files is duplicating the mobile menu. I ONLY need it for the flyout, not on the home page.
4. Thanks…can I also have the AREA for those arrow indicators be completely GONE instead of HIDDEN? Now when I hover, the top level menu word isn’t centered.
2. When a PLUGIN version of MegaMenu or UberMenu is implemented, the Logo on Sticky for above responsive breakpoint doesn’t work poperly.
3. I mean logo ON the FLYOUT menu ONCE FLYED OUT.
HOVER: I’m on Google Chrome, and It won’t hover for me on Google Chrome and actually doesn’t open for me until the second time clicked. Please Advise.

After your help I’ll probably just stick with the stock menu provided with the theme….but will need help on a few things:
1. That Hover/Click issue. Do you notice Hover doesn’t work on Google Chrome? I want it to hover.
2. Can I change the background color for the dropdown menu? Active/Hover colors?
3. Logo on Flyout menu
4. YES, the CSS you provided DOES take away the arrow-dropdown indicators, BUT how can I then CENTER the word instead of leaving that blank space to the right of the menu word?

On my side the hover works fine, if i hover on a menu which has a submenu or mega menu it opens up, i don’t have to click once or twice to open it – http://screencast.com/t/IK0VKKaS
Also include details about the device/pc/laptop you use for testing, theme version, plugins used, operating system name and version, browser version. We have to duplicate this issue on our side in order to come with a solution.
2. The theme doesn’t come with such an option but you can doit with custom css. If you decide to use the theme menu let me know and i’ll provide a solution, it won’t work if you use UberMenu.
3. Not sure what you mean with the Flyout menu, do you refer to the sticky menu (the one which stays on top when you scroll down)? Please provide more details.

I’m gonna pass on Uber or Mega (Plugin) and stick with the stock (Mega) menu provided. You guys have given me enough info where I’m okay.
1. It ONLY happens for me when using Google Chrome. With IE or Mozilla, it hovers fine. It DOES still give me issues in the demo.

***Doesn’t dropdown on Hover, needs a click to open everything on every level of menu. But first click only makes it popup really quickly and then disappear. It’s strange. Then clicks after that work fine.
***On other computers, the hover still works fine for IE and Mozilla, but I still have to click on Chrome…HOWEVER the “double click” issue is solved on other computers.
***So, the double click issue is just my computer (no worries there). But how can I make sure HOVER works on ALL BROWSERS?
2. Yes I will use the theme menu, if you point me in the right direction with CSS colors I can figure it out.
3. The Flyout menu meaning when it’s MOBILE, the menu that flies out to the LEFT of the screen. There is no logo option to place in there. Logo IS on the sticky (in the middle), which is good.

How come only 5 of my sub-categories are only showing on the mega menu? Is that the max or is there an option to use more than 5?
…..Also, just noticed the theme takes away the “Gallery Post Type.” Standard and Video is still there, but Gallery is gone, and I usually use Gallery for SlideShow Post Types.
How can I get it back?

1. How to change the Twitter EMBED width percentage? In the Newspaper CSS I figured it out. In NewsMag, there is no Twitter specific CSS embed option. Only EMBED, which I already set to 100%, but seeing no change.
2. How to remove the POST and COMMENT count on the Author Page. I love the Author’s Box, but those counts I would like to remove.

…NOW THEIA POST SLIDER plugin isn’t working for slideshow posts. It was working initially. I haven’t figured out what the cause is.
Have you heard of this happening to others?
…OR if you know any similar plugins to Theia Post Slider, that are compatible, I would use a different one.

8. Unfortunately we did not tested THEIA POST SLIDER or any similar plugin so I cannot recommend any.
Please check this without any plugins active, leave just Visual Composer and THEIA POST SLIDER active, clear cache and see if it works.

Theia Post Slider WAS working fine prior to me starting to use the Visual Composer on POSTS. Once I started using it for posts is when this issue started happening.
I went to settings and took away the ability to use VC for posts (and left it for pages), and it is now still screwed up.

***I figured it out.
When I attach a PAGE to the MENU (so it shows on the dropdown like I was looking for), that’s when it brings up conflicts to many other plugins.
Ultimate Social Deux, Theia Post Slider and Awesome Navigator all have conflicts when I attach a page to the menu for a dropdown (which is something I definitely need).
You guys might want to look into that conflict. What can be done? As soon as I “UNCONNECTED” the Page ID from the Menu, all the plugins worked fine.
If I can’t use these pages as dropdowns in the menu, then I’m gonna want to move to UberMenu or MegaMenu Plugin. But then that brings me to my original issue of the Mobile Menu duplicating.

Also, after troubleshooting, Google Chrome is NOT HOVER and IS CLICK for the menu. IE and Mozilla is hover.

1. Why adding pages to the menu (to allow a full dropdown that is NOT a mega menu), messes with other plugins.
