Hello,

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

I found the problem: in mobile version the menu has the following structure: the button to open menu has a link with address ’#’, that is why by clicking this link it redirects to this URL. weekenjoy.com/#

How can i fix and change this?

Hello,

Please check your menus section and if you have the menu set up with custom links pointing to # then you will not be able to click them on desktop or mobile devices. Here is an example: https://www.screencast.com/t/WcGkkAJDk
Please check the links in your appearance->menus section.

Thanks.

I deleted all the # but it stays the same, the author of the plugin told me this:

The only thing I can suggest to modify plugin’s file. You can remove this line from plugin’s file

w2dc/resources/js/js_functions.js

location.reload(true);

What do you think?

Hi,

I don’t know about that or what plugin you are referring to, maybe try it and see what happens if it is recommended by the plugin author.

The only issues I see with the menu on your website would be these items
https://www.screencast.com/t/hDYVbTPdLSR1
Those do not do anything on desktop, so they will not do anything on mobile. If those are pages add them as pages
https://www.screencast.com/t/jp0WRMPX
If they are categories add them as categories, same for custom links (enter valid URLs).
If you add the menu items like this they will be used properly by the website users. Currently from what I can see they do not do anything.

Web directory 2.0, this issue only happens with your theme so please help me to find a solution. I deleted that empty boxes in the menu and nothing changed…

So those are menu items that are created through that plugin. Maybe the plugin is not compatible with the theme in some way and the menu items that are created with it do not function correctly.
I could not provide any fixes unfortunately if that is the case, we have not made any tests with the plugin, I don’t know why that is happening. Maybe you can use default menu items and use the plugin in a different way if possible, for a fully working menu.

No, that menu is create you your theme. When the theme switch to mobile version the menu automatically has a # as link so it reloads the entire page…

From all the menu items I tested, currently only this one does nothing on desktop or mobile from what I can see
https://www.screencast.com/t/r7OoEO6dXl
If the menu items work properly when the plugin is disabled then the plugin would be causing the issues.

Or maybe I am misunderstanding the actual problem here, please mention what exactly I should test to see the problem.

Hi,
I’m having the same problem.

This specific case happens when creating a page menu (as specified here https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-menu/)

It works perfectly fine on desktop: when clicking on the menu item, the page is shown as menu.

However, when on mobile, I click on the menu item and nothing happens (because of the # on the item link).

Please have a look here: https://author.thebusylifestyle.com/ (first menu item)
Compare the behaviour on desktop and on mobile.
On desktop – OK
On Mobile nothing happens – Not Ok.

I hope this helps clarify the issue

Hi,

@MCord
The first menu item would be this one
https://www.screencast.com/t/uhD3A1FQ
That does not do anything except direct to an empty page from what I can see
https://www.screencast.com/t/hGM7zvtek

A page menu will not be displayed on mobile, ideally one would use the mobile theme for mobile, this provides an option to display a different menu
