Hi, I set up a mobile version of the main site and at times it displays on a mobile correctly, but sometimes it reverts back to the mobile view of the main site. The main PC site is not optimized for mobile. I constantly need to keep on saving the mobile site in order for it to display, otherwise it shows the main site on a mobile. The main site doesn’t show correctly on a mobile devise. I don’t know what do to do with this anymore. Also, when that happens, the PC main site displays as the mobile version. It’s becoming annoying and messing up my analytics. The site is at http://www.emprsario.com. If anyone could help, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks, in advance.
Hello,
So do you use the mobile page template for mobile content, right? For this please make sure that you are using a cache plugin that has mobile cache support, if you are using the WP Super Cache, make sure it is set as in our guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Hi,
So, that didn’t work.
If you wish, we can investigate the situation, so please contact us by email at contact@tagdiv.com and give us temporary access to the site. It also includes a link to this topic.
Thank you!
The only way I were able to fix this issue was by installing a Pre-built website and deleting the Mobile template. It shouldn’t have to be this way. I’m now using Header Template – Italy Report PRO, but now I have a different issue. I can’t figure out how to make the header sticky. I don’t want it to show the second dropdown part of it showing the logo and the menu. If I make it sticky, I can’t find the row that would stand still, unless I delete the top row with the adbox. Also, if I make it sticky, then I go back to the original problem I always had and that is, the mobile part of the header will disappear, hence the reason I created a Mobile Template, and unfortunately that didn’t work either. I like this theme, but it seems to have some issues. Please show me what I’m doing wrong. The fix you gave me for the other issue didn’t work either. Thanks
Hi,
You can enable/disable the sticky menu using the header manager – https://i.imgur.com/sn6BVIW.png or you can select the row that you want to become sticky and activate the sticky option for it -https://i.imgur.com/9nuSbub.png
Thank you!
Hi ilouie,
The header on the mobile will disappear regardless of whether the one on the desktop is sticky or not because another header is used on the mobile version, which in turn may or may not be sticky.
Also, our theme offers the possibility to choose between 3 options for the mobile version: the responsive version of the theme, mobile theme plugin and mobile page template (these can also be used in combination) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Thank you!
Hello,
The theme uses a header for the desktop and a header for mobile (when you are on the desktop, the one on the mobile is hidden, and when you are on mobile, the one on the desktop is hidden, it is not the same menu on the desktop that can be adjusted on the mobile).
Thank you!
