Mobile version of static landing page incorrect

Hi there,

The website version of my landing page displays correctly, but the mobile page is displaying a random layout and design that I never created – it appears to be an AMP issue.

I have set my AMP settings according to the TagDiv recommendations, set it to ‘Mobile+AMP’ in the Theme Panel, have my WP Super Cache set up as you guys have recommended, but no change. I have a mobile theme version of the page also.
I have tried deactivating AMP and waiting 24 hours, but also no change.

My website is annadrummond.com

Thanks.

Hello !

The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !

Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC

You are now able to create mobile viewport templates as you can see in our guide here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

! Atention ! If you are using mobile templates you will have to remove the mobile theme plugin and also at the moment AMP is not working with mobile templates.

Wonderful, thanks Vlad – I disabled the mobile theme plugin for both my desktop and mobile landing pages and it fixed it. 😀

Just to clarify – what is the best way currently for me to translate my desktop pages into mobile format? Would it be to create a new ‘mobile page’ for every desktop page, with the mobile theme plugin disabled?

Thanks for all your work answering the extensive list of queries!

Hello !

Now the best way you have the new mobile templates which are cloud library templates fully editable with tagDiv Composer that are designed only for your mobile pages.

Take a look in this topic for more information: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-themes-cloud-library-v10-3-7-update/

Thank you !
