I’ve purchased Newspaper and have installed it on my current WordPress site. I am moving to a new WordPress host. I will be backing up the site and restoring it on my new site (same domain, etc.). What is the correct process to move the theme and keep the license active?

Hello. I don’t understand. Is there a plugin called “Duplicator”? I am planing to use a backup and restore function of the “Dropbox Backup & Restore” plugin.
My question is what do I need to do (if anything) about my license for the NewsPaper Theme. Can I just install the same download to the new site, since it will have the same domain name?
Also, I am using the theme currently on the domain mytravels.hdf.net. I would like to use it for both mytravels.hdf.net and http://www.hdf.net (same root domain) on the new host. Does this require two licenses for the Newspaper theme, or just one?

The Duplicator plugin is recommended by many users when migrating or creating copies of the website.
Normally, the Envato policy allows using a theme only on one install. You can, however, use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed.

I also would like to know if I move my existing domains to a new host (I have two pointing to one set of content), and move all the content to keep the site as is – no new content, do I keep the Newspaper theme without paying again? Does the theme move with the files? The current content is one on domain name but I have a 2nd domain pointing to it – I will be moving both domains to new host.

I’m reading the posts, but I can’t tell if this is going to be a problem for me. I’m planning to migrate a copy of my existing site down to a test server so I can do some radical design changes.
What I can’t figure out is, will the Newspaper theme actually work on the test site? I suppose that technically I would not be in strict compliance with the license agreement, but I don’t really want to buy a second license for a test site that’s temporary.
The changes, by the way, don’t involve moving to a new theme. I’m generally happy with the Newspaper theme because it provides all the capability I could want in terms of design flexibility, and the major new look I’m seeking should work fine within the Newspaper structure. It’s just that I need to do it on a test machine since I’m sure to break it a few times in the design process.
Anyway, any thoughts someone more knowledgeable than I am about whether the theme will work on a test server would be appreciated.

If you are make the testing on sub-domain or localhost you have no problem with the license agreement.
