My wordpress blog currently runs of newspaper7 theme. We are trying to achieve infinite scroll feature – similar to websites like Vogue.com (http://www.vogue.com/13490385/alexander-wang-spring-2017-buy-now-collection/ )
We have already tried ajax previous post paid plugin (connekthq.com/plugins/ajax-load-more/add-ons/previous-post/) – but it was not compatible as informed by the plugins developer.
Could you pls advice any free or paid plugin which would be compatible with newspaper6/7 for our website – http://www.shilpaahuja.com. We want to full post load and URL to change when the user scrolls down to the end of the post, not just a snippet/excerpt.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option regarding on Infinite Post Load, sorry! Also, please notice that we do not have any recommended plugin with this functionality because we do not make any tests in this regard. You will have to find some plugins with this functionality and see how it will work for you.
In a future update, it is possible but we cannot say for sure if it will get done in the next update because we have a big list of fixes, improvements, and suggestions to implement. It’s hard to filter them and select which one gets implemented now and which one gets postponed. The developers decide if it gets done or not, though.

I was about to ask the same thing but first I wanted to know if I was the only one.
I hope you implement this feature in the next updates because there are many requests for infinite scrolling on posts (including me).

We’re interested too… All of the infinite scroll plugins we tried nothing seems to work, and most plugin authors do not support Newspaper 7, as they say it doesn’t follow WordPress coding standards, which is true in many ways.
Infinite scroll in post page is kinda a must for most sites today. Almost everybody uses it!
Its like please get it done. Most of the users were struggling to get the task done.

Sorry, but there is no viable solution for infinite loading for posts with our theme. Sorry. We do have it on our list for future releases but because of the way the theme was built, infinite scrolling is not possible at the moment.

Well, actually the guys over at Autoblog Greece (URL to see it live: https://www.autoblog.gr/2017/05/11/bmw-2-series-facelift-2018/) who use theme version 7.7, have already impemented it. Maybe we should ask them for help?
Functionally, they’ve done it well; the only problem is that the page takes too long to finish loading (total page load time).
