New template for single post

Hi, I am creating a new single post template to be able to move the elements as I want and I am trying to replicate the current default template.
Well, I can’t get the side elements for “Popular Posts” or “Related Posts” to fit in.
If I’m not mistaken, those are Widgets that are already active in the theme preferences but they don’t appear in that new template.
How to solve it?
