Most of the premium advertisers, those who pay the big money for sites with more than 1 million page views a month, demand pages with enough space to advertise (brandgates and such). Actually, there are a lot of big magazines using a narrower template because of this. I had to change my theme even to 980px.
I am thinking about buying this but does it have to be so narrow or can we edit that in theme panel? Also is there a way to get rid of all the white? Or would I have to do custom code. A shade of two darker would make for easier reading.

I just bought the newsmag theme and switched from newspaper to the new one – only to see what is new. Again, all of you are doing a great job. I love your themes!
Earlier you mentioned a bigger newspaper update (Version 5).
Do you already have a release date in mind?

Newsmag works great for us: http://ga-ga.com – switched from Newspaper because we *did* want the narrower layout for this particular project (still under construction). But, still using Newspaper on couple of sites where the wider layout works great. Nice to have a choice between two different themes in the same “family.”

@julingn The version 5 of newspaper theme will be available within 2-3 months.
@Rodney828 Unfortunately the newsmag theme doesn’t have an option for the width, the white space can be customized via page builder or reduced using custom code.

Doesn’t look much better than me, only thing I like are the separators. Would love to be able to do that with Newspaper.
