I received an email indicating that there was a newer version of newsmag available. Is there any way that I can find out what the upgrades/changes are before I actually upgrade to latest edition?
Also, how would I integrate the content from the previous version into the newer version?

The latest version of the theme is Newsmag 4.3. So, the recommended way is to update the theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. You should simply download the latest version of the theme from your Theme Forest account and then install it according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/ Before each theme installing, we recommend doing a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your data.
