Hello Skip,
First of all, you have to set your front page displays your latest posts from WP Panel, like this: http://screencast.com/t/hmYdRTXbQky7 and this module you can control it from Theme panel, like this: http://screencast.com/t/rCqSlLoE
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you for the message!
Thanks, Catalin –
I get that part. However I need a static front page, so have my site set up that way. Take a look at: http://www.utahsafehaven.com
If one would click on a selection from the top menu, I’ve been able to add additional ad blocks to the page the menu points to, as well as edit the bottom footer for another banner “ad.”
However, when one clicks on an individual post, those additional ads disappear. How to edit the post template to look like one of the menu “homepage” templates? Is that possible via the Visual Composer? Do I have to create a whole new template? If so, how to point the posts to that template?
In the meantime, where am I able to change the footer ad on the post template?
Thanks for your help. LOVE the theme!
Hello Skip,
Unfortunately, I do not understand very good what you mean and what ads disappear? Please provide more details about your problem because it is necessary to know these details so I can be able to provide a more accurate response. When you set a header and footer style, this is the same for all website, it are not different. When I’ve checked your website, I did not saw the footer section…please, give more information.
Thank you for the message!
Select either of the options from the main menu: Shelter, Water, Food, Security.
That will bring up a page with two advertisements in the right sidebar, with the social media links at the top of the sidebar, and a custom ad in the page footer.
This is the look I wish to have, with the addition of a reply section, for each post.
Click an individual post, either from the main homepage, or from one of the sub-homepages and a totally different page will appear. Only a single ad, the social media links at the bottom of the sidebar, and a <Tagdiv> generic ad in the footer.
How do I turn the latter page into the former?
Hello Skip,
If you want to have the same sidebar for each post, you have to set it from panel Widgets area, like this: http://screencast.com/t/pKRjtqXuPz and you should customize it as you wish and then you have to select the corresponding sidebar when you edit your posts, like this: http://screencast.com/t/ZjjHLabs
For more information about sidebar, please check our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/ and if you want to have a bottom ad, you can select it from Theme panel->Ads area, like this: http://screencast.com/t/Wyv8jP5XjjJu
Also, you can activate the Visual Composer for the post, but please notice this plugin is not tested to our theme and after this are necessary to do some customization. -> http://screencast.com/t/6hPH9TZghH
Hope this helps!
