I’ve installed the new version of Newsmag, but any change to my theme panel and it just sits there and does not change. the url is notafairytalemom.com please help
a) try clearing cache on site if using one; reset update CDN if using one
b) clear cache in your web browser
c) clear transients using wp-optimize
d) make sure you have enough memory allocated to WordPress via the wp-config.php file
Im not using a cache, I’ve tried on different machines and this server isnt having problems with any other site? could it be anything else? I cant make any changes
So, you cleared transients, and have allocated more than 40MB RAM to WordPress in your wp-config.php file ?
Visual Composer won’t work unless you allocate more RAM in your wp-config.php file.

This might not help but seems to work on some installs
* resave permalinks
* disable Yoast SEO, then re-enable (you don’t lose settings)
Note if you are using some “optimization” plugins or services — these are known to cause problems with WP 4.5.2.
OK .. it’s official 🙂 .. it is Wordfence Security. After disabling plugin i can save theme settings and when enabling back saving is impossible 🙂
Yeah…. seeing that with whole bunch of themes/foundries, and sites, as of WP 4.5.2 with WORDFENCE specifically. Same complaint on more than one other forum.
Another “optimization” plugin also causing issues, but couldn’t remember the name of either one. Coffee NOT kicking in today!
