Hi guys,
Using a Child Theme with Newspaper 4, I have copied throught the FTP access the new theme folder but something went (very) wrong. Right now I cannot see nothing, not the site and the WP interface, so I cannot using the plugin to restore the previous version.
Could you help me?

OK, I’ve done a successful backup. So the website is ok. How could I upload the theme without trouble?

Before update please backup the site (database and files) – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
There is a guide how to update the theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ I suggest to delete the old theme, then upload version 6 so you will make sure that no old files will remain. After update the theme you can update also the theme’s plugins, you can find them in the /plugins folder. After the update run the script, it will import old settings from database and it will change the shortcodes (like you can see in the documentation), the script is included in the Welcome panel – http://screencast.com/t/eZxxuqvsTir. Also you have to regenerate the thumbs – https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-the-theme-with-existing-content/ You may have to re-add widgets on the sidebars, some of them may not be imported or don’t exist anymore.
