Newspaper 9 minor tweaks to theme

Hi there, thanks again for providing a great theme which is very easy to use. There are some minor tweaks that I am trying to make but I’m not seeing where I can make them so I’m hoping for your assistance.

1 – Automatic centering of images: Is there a way that an image can be automatically centered if taken in portrait mode (vertical)? https://ibb.co/HNHBhtb

2 – Automatic slider: Within your theme there seems to be a slider which we have used to display photogalleries. Is there a way to have slider arrows or buttons or if it can transition between images located within the slider? https://ibb.co/5BwfXmT

3 – Using the “Big Grid Full 4 – Grid Style 1” option, is there a way to remove the spacing from images? https://ibb.co/ZWPgrhm

4 – Using another option, “Big Grid Full 4 – Grid Style 4 (bottom box)”, is there a way to not have the image height change if the headline spans two or more rows? The headlines IPL 2019… and Red Force… are in the same line, but the headline “Maradona treated…” is in one line, hence the image height has changed. Is there a fix for this? https://ibb.co/x3ym0s4

Hi,

1. Please make sure that your image from that thumb is not to small, also you can use a plugin to Fix strange looking images on blocks -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/

2. Please check our documentation about tagDiv Slide Gallery -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/gallery-2/

3. In order remove the space between images please add this custom css in Newspaper>Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css

4. In order to fix this you’ll need to set some excerpt on that module, in order to do that please go in Newspaper>Theme panel>excerpts and set on letters https://www.screencast.com/t/xAmuyU0BC , if you want to set a specific number of letters on that module look for Module MX21
