Hi hope you can help. we have been using your Newspaper theme since 2019 and have just upgraded from v9.1 to v12.6.2.
My problem is that the background ad is not clickable anymore. The settings are correct but it just will not work my web is http://www.rli.uk.com your advice to resolve would be greatly appreciated.

Please check in the Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Ads -> https://app.screencast.com/4XFtcRqew45gb and set your correct link there.
It should work well because I’ve tested it in the latest update of the theme.

Thanks Bettina, we has already inserted the url but the clickable background just does not work. I even tried the google.com domain in your picture but no it just wont work.
Have you any other advice please:)

Software all up to date Newspaper v12.6.2 on wordpress v6.4.2, Deactivated non TagDiv plugins and clears cache but sorry to say that it still will not work.
