When I try to update anything in the Theme Panel, then click save. I just get the “thinking” circle that goes on forever. Nothing ever updates no matter how long I let it run on “Saving”.

Hi,
Please make sure that the theme system status is configured as mentioned in the requirements guide. Please follow the guide carefully

and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Also please check for wordfence and put the firewall in learning mode (or disable any other firewall). This is the most common theme panel blockers.
