I got an email from Envato Market telling me that Newspaper has an update and can be found in the downloads.
Once it downloads, it is requesting I download the whole thing again. Can’t we update from within WordPress without a reinstall?
This theme is not hosted on WordPress.org — like most themes on ThemeForest you need to install via FTP to have it done properly. Good to learn, as it allows you to make proper backups, make sure you install plugins properly, and KNOW it has been updated correctly.

How often are updates issued?
Hello,
We try to release an update each month but development sometimes takes longer and we delay a bit but the usual plan is one update each month (if there are no emergencies and require a quick dot revision that is).
