any news per big slide bug in home?

After the update none of my custom CSS seem to have any effect, resulting in the paging looking nothing like before. Please help?

If possible, release a version that brings you back to the previous one, such as 3.8 which worked great.

I’m currently on 4.0.2 and the following issues I am having are as followed:

1. The smooth scroll interferes with the infinite scroll making it scroll too fast that the infinite scroll wont load. The posts that are trying to load also are transparent.

2. Using Homepage – BG + No Article List (OR) With Article List, the background of the slide goes to ‘stretched’ and the blocks are a mess (shown: http://screencast.com/t/f9OpXQsG)

3. Blank Homepage – I’m noticing when using Module 7 on homepage that it shows the blank page.

I posted in the main forum but noticed that this post is all for 4.0+ bugs.

Tagdiv Gallery doesnt fit well the boxed layout.

Sorry for my double post from above. The problem was solved. First i’ve made a downgrade to V 3.9.2 then to 4.0 to 4.0.1. Luckly i found the old archives, I think it will be better if you can make some archives with all updates si we can upgrade/downgrade the theme.

Only one problem. The “Load More News” is not working anymore.

I know someone already reported the bug but is there any way we can fix the problem with featured video (youtube) when used with post style 3? Once you press play there is no way of seeing the controls or stopping the video.

7 days sorting does not work

Since i updated the theme, the post font (when writing posts [wp-admin/post-new.php]) is very large and is different than before. It’s making it really hard to write or format the text (in all web browsers) for all roles.

Any fixes?

For me, just like in Peter’s case, the sticky menu (floating header) doesn’t work anymore, since V 4.0 (and until V 4.0.2).

So I must keep running the V 3.9.2.

Can you solve it in the next update ? The sticky menu is very important.

1. Yes, we need the sticky menu back! None of the 4 options work in Theme Panel 🙁

2. Also, the infinite scroll issue that is posted above. The smooth scrolling is nice but it does prevent the new articles to load slow and transparent.

Anyone here using custom post types as well? Are you having problems with medium aligned pictures? Aligning doesn’t work anymore since the latest update. And there is an ad showing up at the bottom now.

Plus the font size and line spacing is different on pages and custom post types now (you can change only the page title font in the theme panel).

@Arved007, that’s great that your sticky menu works. What version do you have?

Several other users are having trouble with the sticky menu as well listed above. Is there a fix for this teamDiv?

With the latest version 4.0.2 I needed to clear all browser caches and CND cache. In my case with cloud flare just using the single file clearing especially for the style.css file (but look at the changed files list and clear them as well).

This fixes the big slider and sticky menu. Everything else is working perfectly now, thanks for the great new features and continued optimising from the developers.

This weekend i done a make over on my site by upgrading my server and my PHP etc and since i done all that my “sticky menu” is working as entended..but i’m not telling any one go and change server,i think the reason “sticky menu” don’t work for a lot of people because they need to clean there cache in they cache plugin,cloudflare and also they browser cache…

@Peter, this worked! Purges the style.css in Cloudflare and wah-lah!

with 4.1 update I have the same problem with Big Slide in homepage (with pc desktop).

I try to:

– deactivate the w3 cache plugin
– delete cdn
– delete browser cache
– delete all cache

But I have always the same problem, I see only the first big image.

POSSIBLE ERROR: in the code of big slider I found many div with ID that start with “iosSlider_…..” (in the previous version the div class start with “iosSlider…”)

I just downloaded latest version from themefores but instaled version says 4.01 and not 4.02 why is that? how an I try the “stacks” I dont see an option fro changing from stack to stack….

Hi @salocharly,

Stack means demo designs I guess. I already used the Tech stack on my website and it’s just a pre-made customization that comes with different font, colour, styles.

Hi there,

After the 4.1 update I lose the BG image for the Home page. Settings > Background. All the Categories Background images work normally its just the Home page.

Caches all cleared and tested.
