Thanks to the Tagdiv team the support has always been 100% and they always push our good products and updates.
I run http://www.policehour.co.uk we have not really made any modifications on there, however we are recruiting a web developer at the moment which we hope will make the big changes we want.

If you want you can update to latest version 6.3.1. Also you need to regenerate your thumbnails, now your images are full on your homepage and need to be cropped. Use AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild plugin to solve this.

We’ve done a lot with this theme for quite a while with a lot of customizations. Migrated it over two years ago from Movable Type to WordPress and this theme. We are all things denim with 16,000 posts to-date. Feedback for improvements is always appreciated or willing to share how we did certain things with others. Moved from another theme over the past few weeks via a staging environment – would Like to thank TagDiv for amazing support – still plenty of tweaks to do but pleased with it.

@jdmeier when i go to your site it’s loading fine and not slow etc.. you need to “Regenerate Thumbnails” with the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/ and also use the plugin “Thumbnail Upscale” as well you can find it here …https://wordpress.org/plugins/thumbnail-upscale/ and try a better cache plugin like “ZenCache” that will do a great job then the rest of cache plugin out there…
These are some of my own tips to make the theme and WP works smooth..
Get these plugins if you can they will make a big difference in your site…
1.Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions
2.EWWW Image Optimizer
3.ZenCache
4.Google Webfont Optimizer
5.Force Regenerate Thumbnails
6.Thumbnail Upscale
7.Google Libraries

@Steven some of those plugins aren’t really required or there are better options.
I used to have EWWW Image Optimizer plugin but fills the database quickly, it’s also much easier to compress images using a tool such as paint .NET (http://www.getpaint.net/)
Also the webfont optimizer isn’t needed either because theme already does it, to make it quicker you should add the font CSS directly into your main stylesheet.. i think Chris wrote a tutorial somewhere in the forum on how to do it.

Hi there, my site is BuzzHut (http://www.buzzhut.co.uk). We’re a gaming, gadgets and mobile news, reviews and discussion site running the Newspaper theme. Founded in 2010, I updated the theme to Newspaper a couple of months ago and am so pleased with the results – hands down the best theme I’ve used. Still got plenty more to do on it but it’s given me a great foundation to get the look and user experience I was after.

Site looks good, have you tried making your text orange and remove the background behind your logo?
Also i’m not sure if you know this but you have a smiley face at the bottom of your site.. i’m pretty sure you get that from Jet Pack plugin, and from memory there is a way to remove it.
Like the way you list your posts in front page, and for the social share button in the list, what block/module are you using in frontpage ?

All News+ is a news website and since the theme is so on point! Though I’ve been quite lazy customizing it, I did follow the installation guides & tips and my site performance improved! Glad to see I’m not the only one here (hehe).
(I’m not sure if this is allowed here but…) Can anyone please suggest a good antispam plugin I can use that won’t disable the speedbooster? Thank you.
