I did the update to V6, installed everything ( including child theme and td-api-plugin) and I have no more blocks….
Blocks are not recognized. I have only the shortcode which appear on screen. And when i go on the page editor, i cannot select any block through visual composer. They are not listed…

For the second point (block not in visual composer), you just have to go into the settings of VC and add the right for administrator
BUT, for the first point, you CHANGED THE SHORTCODES. Block are now like td_block_2 whereas they were td_block2 before. It means that i need to change all the shortcodes of all my pages !!!

Before update please backup the site (database and files) – https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
You have to remove theme via FTP and install the new one and also the plugins that come with the theme files, you can find them it in the theme package inside the Plugins folder – http://screencast.com/t/lkrma6blYE
