Hello,
I recently installed the newspaper theme and I am interested in using the mega menu for my site. However, I do not see the mega menu option when I expand a menu item.
Here are the steps I followed:
1. Navigate to Appearance > Menu.
2. Expand a menu item. However, when I expand a menu item, there is no option to make it a mega menu.
Am I missing a step or setup?

The option should be there by default. Please make sure you have all of the options checked in screen otions (top of the screen)
if the mega-menu option does not come up, please disable all pl;ugins exceopt visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Also if you use a child theme try switching to the main theme.
Also try to remove any custom modifications you might have in place.
If all else fails, maybe the theme did not install properly so try to reinstall it using this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

I have identified the issue. I have a plugin called Ultimate Member installed. It also adds an option to menu items where the mega menu option would be. Looks like it is overriding the mega menu option on menu items.
Is there anyway to resolve this issue? I need the ultimate member plugin along with the menu item option it presents. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, please keep in mind that this plugin is not tested with our theme and we have no idea about the theme behaviour with this plugin and also, we cannot provide support or implementation for untested plugins, sorry!
If you want to display or add more levels in our theme and you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

The Ultimate Member plugin still disables the mega menu option. To set up a mega/page menu, deactivate the plugin for the period of setup, then activate again. The mega menu will work as it’s supposed to do, only the setup in menus is affected!
Not really a solution, if you work a lot in the menu dialog, though.
Maybe the tagdiv team could take a look into this .. ?
