Hi there!
I came across a problem with two of my pages. http://www.poddabie.org and http://www.mielno1.eu On both pages non of the pictures are shown. I copied one of these pages to another server but the problem remains. How can I fix it?

Thanks,
Jerzy

Make sure you set a ‘featured’ image for each post.
Make sure your image directory is “writable” on your site(s).

Hi Chris,
How can i check if image directory is “writable”? I did nothing with the sites before problem occured.
Thanks,
Jerzy

Try uploading an image via the media manager and make sure the file is actually there ; if so, then it’s writable (or learn to use FTP and what CHMOD and file permissions on web server folders are). If it’s not, then theme cannot create pictures in the folder for the thumbnail sizes.

One also presumes you didn’t turn “off” all the image sizes for thumbs in the theme panel. 😉

Also make sure you’re not using any “auto minify” plugins as that can break stuff too.

Hi Chris,
It seems that everything is ok but pictures still are not visible. My host provider says that it might be a problem with a css file. Is that can be true?

Thanks,
Jerzy

Hi

This usually happens because of lazy load animation which’s script conflict with one of your installed plugins. Try to deactivate the animation from theme panel > template settings: http://screencast.com/t/YfRwIXkEWam7 clear all caches and test again. Also you can try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and check if the problem is still there.

Let me know how it goes.
Thanks!

Thank you Andrei for your quick response.
In Newsmag system status I found “No caching plugin detected” Should I instal a plugin to clear caches or can I do it from the theme panel? If so where can I find it?
Thanks,
Jerzy

You can turn ‘OFF’ lazy loading of images in the theme panel. Look for that setting and switch it to OFF.

Hi @abccom

We recommend WP Super Cache as a cache plugin and here you can check our documentation regarding its setup: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Thanks!
