I have been using my newly installed website http://thekhabardar.com based on newspaper theme. Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and all other social media shares where accurately showing permalink and thumbnainl of featured image in the post. But, issues started since I installed Yoast SEO Plugin. I am not able to paste link on Facebook. Thumbnail of post’s featured image is also not showing in FB Post. And also, Facebook debugger is showing that the requested URL is blocked. All these started after installing Yoast SEO plugin. I want my website to start working like earlier because if has affected my website very badly. I installed Yoast SEO because it was tested and suggested by TagDiv.
Kindly help me urgently.

It is very strange that few link works well and few have this issue that they do not generate thumbnail in facebook. Also, None of the link generate thumbnails in Twitter and WhatsApp. I am using Extra Theme from Elegant Themes for one of my other blogging website and it works without any issue. I have this issue only in Newspaper. Kindly go though all the settings in https://thekhabardar.com and help me to change the same if required so that I can able to share links in all social media platforms and everywhere.

Thank you very much for your reply. Since, Newspaper theme is made exclusively for news and media all social sharing feature must be a part of the theme out of the box.
Whenever I share any link in WhatsApp link does not generate anything. It is just a plain link. Earlier when I installed this theme everything was working and later it stopped working.
Please provide me exclusive support so that I can set these things correctly as I could not find any documentation for these subjects in support forums available for Newspaper Theme.
I am in completely mess, and my website progress is affected very badly.

They seems to be shared alright.

If there are problems with some, try using the debugger tool
– https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
If you use the Yoast SEO plugin there should be no problem, it will add the necessary og data for the sharing on socials. Usually when there are issues a debug will fix them

Thank you for your reply. When I open website from mobile and hit whtasapp share button sharing with thumbnail has no issue. But when I copy the link from desktop and paste it in Whatsapp Web or App opened in PC. It does not generate any link or thumbnail. Please check the same and suggest way forward. Because, I am dependent to share news on whatsapp from my mobile alone.

The image appears just fine. Maybe you solved the issue, it is working from what I can see.
Thanks for reply. Did you notice how the link having %BD%bd%bnab%bbd%bhh%hhahd% which is not understandable and when shared, it gives expression as if some span/virus contained content is posted. Whereas when you open the same news in mobile and the news in Whatsapp using mobile link looks exactly correct. Please let me know the reason for it and ways to correct it.
That is how various characters are encoded by the browser, it is normal to happen
