You can try the solution we did; deactivate Visual Composer, and use Radu’s “Shim” solution, which allows you to use the nice TD modules, but you lose some of the high-maintenance/high-query VC stuff that most high-traffic sites do *not* really need. You can also find a snippet in my optimization thread from the tutorials > best of forums thread where I disable loading VC stuff entirely from the post pages; only home page.

My server is 8 cpu, 12G ram, APC, Memcashe,server nginx with apache. W3cash.

why are you using nginx and apache at the same time? Use memcache only if you have setup multiple VPS to host your website. You don’t need a caching plugin if you use nginx. The configuration file can handle the caching of static content on VPS

Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately we have no precise solution to your problem. Are you sure it’s the theme that overloads your processor? Please switch to a WP default theme and check your cpu load again. You can try to disable all plugins and check again in order to rule out a plugin conflict as well (also clear cache and reset cdn)
We have no reports of such processor activity when using our theme so if it turns out the problem is theme related we will have to investigate this more in depth.

Of course I turned off everything and switched to the main theme . included one by one . The only problem arises when I activate your template .
Now we have about 600-700 visit at the time and server load is negligible .

Also please switch from w3 total cache to wp super cache as there were issues with total cache.

Hi i have same problem. I have installed only wp super cache plugin. please help me. I have deactivated all plugins, i have done all the things that Prezla have done but nothing happened. My vps server meets all the requirements and newspaper theme has the latest plugins installed and its latest version of the theme.

After i tried for past 2 weeks to find a solution i give up. My cpu is overloaded when someone hit any news title or menu very quickly (is clicking very fast) or spam the refresh button.

Did you send us an email so we can investigate? We cannot do anything from our end and we are not aware of any overheating cpu bug with our theme. The theme works as expected for over 20000 users and among those users there are sites with literally tens of thousands of posts and thousands of visits per day and they have no issues with overloading cpu’s.
