Hi Guys, before version 10 we had a custom ads.php file located in our child theme; we had this so that we could code in some conditional logic in order to have a little more control over which ads show on which categories etc.
The file from Newspaper/parts/header/ads.php was simply copied to the Newspaper-child/parts/header/ads.php which worked fine.
Since the Newspaper 10 update we can now see that this file is located in the td-standard-pack plugin at /wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/ads.php
Is there anyway to override this in a child theme? we added it to Newspaper-child/parts/header/ads.php but it doesn’t seem to override the version in the td-standard-pack plugin. We’ve also tried adding it to the root folder of the child theme which also doesn’t seem to work.
Thanks
Matt
Hello !
Unfortunately not, the only files remaining available in the Child Theme are listed in our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Thank you !
Hello !
You have to insert into the child theme the header style you’re using too: https://prnt.sc/qr9673
I hope this was more helpful !
Thank you !
I added both files: header-menu.php and header-style-1.php. Didn’t change anything. Actually, even a custom page template does not work. It simply does not show up in the page editor. See my other posts:

I have alreday contacted the support via email and provided all credentials.
