Page Content (text) Not Displaying On Specific Pages On Mobile View

Using the Newspaper  theme, I have dialed in the styles and while the desktop view is fine, on mobile view many pages that display fine on desktop are missing the text content entirely on mobile view (see attached screenshots) . All settings in theme, mobile theme and amp seem correct. Please take a look and let me know how to fix the missing content (text of the pages missing in mobile view). Site: https://itgnext.com/ (example of page with desktop content (text) displaying fine on desktop but missing entirely on mobile view) https://itgnext.com/about-us/

Also can not find where to fix/remove this About Us Link in mobile footer? (see attached image as well).
I will also email access credentials to contact@tagdiv.com and reference this thread. attached images: https://imgur.com/a/PzRZu2F

Hello !

If you are using mobile theme plugin you will need to recreate your pages in the mobile editor in order for them to be shown. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !

Each page has this option here: https://www.screencast.com/t/k4O7y7nhmPh

Thank you !

I understand this

I have turned off the mobile theme and amp. So at least visitors can read the content. Pages were created with the supplied theme’s tag div composer. Why is it that the home page displayed perfectly with mobile theme and amp and it is a page created with tag div and yet any other page would not display? Speed/poor performance is an issue with this theme (documented elsewhere)and even while employing the recommended wp-cache and settings, and other tweaks page load issues can be attributed to the coding of this theme. Server is a newer VPS running php 7.4 and redis and yet page loads are horrendously slow on desktop (and now mobile).

Hello !

As you can see here your issue for page speed is not Newspaper Theme related. This is because of the images that are not optimized and one of them is throwing an error: https://www.screencast.com/t/I1nXssKQ

You will have to optimize the images first.

Thanks for looking into this Vlad. I have spoken with client about image upload optimization (resizing and saving for web via PS) moving forward and have implemented the tweaks and suggestions including the addition of add_filter( 'jpeg_quality', create_function('', 'return 50;' ) ); to the child theme php. Hope this helps some but the theme is in fact HEAVY and code needs better optimization. I am a developer myself so to say the theme is not an issue is not correct considering how it compares with many other popular wordpress themes when it comes to speed. I’ll be doing some benchmarks on this theme vs. a few others and will be happy to share those results here. Theme needs work and optimization efforts from your dev team. Thanks for your time!

Hello !

My suggestion would be to let your client know that they can improve the images by themselves or use a software to keep the images lightly. If they don’t take this in consideration, issues may occur and it will be considered developer / theme fault.

I agree with the fact that the theme is Heavy, our hosting recommendations are high and this is due to the numerous features that simply cannot get more lighter. You will have to let your client know about this and that we recommend using a very good hosting plan to run a big website. As we speak our developers are working on improving the theme for page speed, CLS and newest Google standards.

I hope this information helps !

Thank you !

Server is a dedicated 8GB VPS Centos 7 running only this one website. PHP 7.4 redis caching, your recommended wp super cache settings, SSDs, http 2, brotli along with other tweaks implemented here: https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/#fix-admin-ajax-slow-problem

Thanks for your time though. We should have read the lower star reviews prior to purchase over on Envato. Most all of them mention page speed or coding issues. I’m seeing if I can’t defer some of the scripts from loading and minify some css and js to improve the page speed some. If not will have to switch to a lighter theme. Thanks again for your time though.
