Hey,
Does anyone know in which PHP file the logo sits? I have a site and the logo links off to an incorrect different site. I’m guessing someone has hacked the PHP file but I can’t find it anywhere. Hope someone can help!?
Site is https://www.motortradenews.com/
Hello,
Did you make changes to the theme files? normally for a standard style header, you should not be able to set a link on the logo, only on cloud templates, it can be done.
I recommend you to use a cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Template, and set the logo like in this article https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
Thank you!
Hi Anamaria,
A previous developer made changes I believe. That is why i thought I would just need to change the url in one of the PHP files? Is that not the case?
The page wasn’t created with the Tag Div composer so I’m not sure if your solution will work?
Thanks
Tom
Hello Tom,
You need to do the changes in those theme files
-> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo.php
-> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-h1.php
-> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-mobile.php
-> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-mobile-h1.php
-> wp-content/plugins/td-standard-pack/Newspaper/parts/header/logo-text.php
You need to replace it with your link inside the quotes from href = “”> -> https://i.imgur.com/hOeaKMr.png
Hope this help you!
Thank you!
Hi Anamaria,
We don’t seem to have the td-standard-pack. Would this be somewhere else if we are on an older version of Newspaper theme?
Thanks
Tom
We have version 8.7 in the theme. This is our plugins at present
Does that make it clearer?
Thanks
Tom
Hello Tom,
I would recommend you to update because you have an old version of the theme and many changes have been made.
But if you still do not want to update, then please contact us by email and one of my colleagues will tell you where to make the changes.
Please make a full backup to all files and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
–wp-admin URL and credentials
-FTP/cPanel URL and credentials
– a link to this topic to identify you
Thank you!
