Our wordpress website dashboard is giving us this warning, and our hosting provider is also reminding us of PHP upgrade.
Kindly advise on this, and possibly offer possible support. The following message is displayed in the dashboard:
“Your site is running an insecure version of PHP (7.0.33), which should be updated.”
When I upgrade the PHP version from hosting end, the site crashes.

make sure that you use the latest Newsmag theme version, 4.9.6 also when you update the php version try to update it to php7.3 but not v8.

Thanks for your reply. Can you tell me how to update my theme version. I am unable to find my credentials to see if any update is available at your end, though I have the receipt of theme purchase.

To update the theme you can do it using the guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ without access to themeforest, it will not be easy to access the theme update, you can try the envato plugin https://envato.com/market-plugin/
