The Speed Booster plugin is showing the following message
v4.5 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: amp/amp.php
I wanted to know if AMP support is included in the theme by default. Should I keep AMP plugin or remove it.
Before it was showing Akismet incompatible plugin which I have removed.
The AMP is mainly for mobile devices – and reading news / blog items from social media etc.
also comments on the mobile theme is following, so which will be best option for mobile devices.
tagDiv Mobile Theme. Loads a simple mobile theme on small devices. Please note that the theme is already responsive and this plugin is not requiered.

You got this message because you are using some untested plugins. In this case, the Speed booster will be automatically disabled. Notice that the Speed Booster is an optional plugin, and it works only with the tested plugins. If you use other plugins, it will be automatically disabled, and I suggest to check this first in System Status. Please keep in mind that the AMP plugin is tested with the theme and seems to work as properly. The plugin do not come bundled with our theme.

“official” AMP plugin by Automattic works very well with the TagDiv themes, and I’ve been doing so here since Nov. 2015. 🙂
Just need to either add the entry/ignore to the booster settings; or simply not use the booster plugin (which is optional).

As you mention, the AMP plugin is working with the theme, if possible, can you include in the list of validated plugins, so it is not showing with flagged message in the Status Window. For new people like me, it will be very helpful. 🙂

I intend to continue to use the AMP plugin then, seems a lifesaver in current situation, when other methods of speed improvement – cache plugins, minify etc does not seem to be working for me.

I tried to edit the code as you suggest and then activate the plugin. I think it is working.. and without issues… i did not get any alert or site break / FOUC …
AMP is good with the theme, and i think with the optimizer following 2 has become green in pagespeed.
