We are encountering a problem with the 7 days popular posts.
We set up the theme as showing for 7 days, where we modified the block- (use 7 day post sorting, enabled) and the post settings (ajax view count, enabled) for displaying it for 7 days. We dumped the complete cache of the site (w3 total cache), but when we reload the website, the site doesn’t display any posts at all in the block where we have the popular posts displayed.
When we switch it to all time, it does.
We havent used custom code in the site and the site runs on the main (not on child)
Any hints on where to find this issue?

Posts should begin to show up, as they are getting popular(more views). The count will begin the moment the sorting option is activated in the theme panel. It will require post views to be active as well – https://www.screencast.com/t/QGeZTFeW
As it is mentioned in the guide, this sorting method can be influenced by caching
