I have two separate active instances / licenses for Newspaper theme, in one of them I was able to activate the Post Settings panel from the WP editor Preferences. But in another instance, this panel is missing as an option in the Preferences. Both instances have the same WP version, the difference is in the Newspaper theme version. The panel is visible as an option in version 10.3.6, but now in version 10.3.9.1.
So, is this a bug in version 10.3.9.1., or? Is it fixed in 10.4?

If your settings are missing from theme panel, then make sure you have Standard Pack installed and active.

I can confirm. Standard Pack does not effect this. Post Settings metabox is part of TD Composer (/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/wp-admin/content-metaboxes). I never had SP active and had Post Settings metabox in posts. Now it’s just gone (not sure from which version). It’s gone in both classic and guttenberg editors.
Enabling Standard Pack does not activate Post Settings.

Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.

The option is missing completely from the WP editor Preferences, please see: https://prnt.sc/11x861g. As mentioned before, in version 10.3.6 it shows up, but not in version 10.3.9.1.
I will update as soon as possible to Newspaper 10.4 and if still not working, deactivate plugins and come back to you with an update.

This is weird because I verify also on both versions and it is still there.
Try with the update and verify if you have all plugins, WordPress up to date. If the problem is still there please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin, so we can investigate this issue. Also paste a link to this topic so we can easily identify you.

I tracked it down by disabling plugins 1 by 1. The cause is compatitability with WooCommerce.
Disabling WooCommerce fixes it, but downgrading to previous versions doesn’t. Tested with:
WC 4.9.2 – not working
WC 5.0.0 – not working
WC 5.1.0 – not working
WC 5.2.0 – not working
WC 5.2.1 – not working
WC 5.2.2 – not working
WC 5.3.0 RC1 – not working
On Newspaper side tested with:
10.4 – not working
10.3.9.1 – not working
10.3.9.0 – not working
10.3.8 – not working
10.3.7 – not working
If Newspaper rollback updater also rolls back TD composer plugin, which is probably the real problem, than that would mean it’s not a recent update thing, but a major compatitability issue (I only recently installed WC, so I wouldn’t know).

First of all, try to do these steps as quickly as possible, so your visitors do not notice the process:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Also, make sure your WordPress and plugins are up to date.

After deactivating all the plugins except tagDiv ones and then activating them one by one, we found out that in our case, the ‘post setting’ was missing due to a conflict with the ‘Everest Tab Lite’ plugin. It is working fine after deactivating it.
