Post template – how to achieve full width featured image?

Hello guys!

I want to achieve the following effect: present the featured image in full width, just like I can see it as an example of your website: https://wpde.sk/po/opjwmf9sm3x3.png

However, when I set my post template to #6, (like I see it in the docs), I get the following effect: https://wpde.sk/po/opj4ioqnjicn.png

The featured image is not full-width. Here are my settings: https://wpde.sk/po/op67ncmxlze7.png

How to achieve full-width featured image, just as in your example?

I’m using Newspaper theme version 8.6 and I’ve imported Newspaper (default) dummy data.

It is because you are using the boxed layout. Adding a background image makes the theme to adapt to the boxed layout. Just remove your theme background image from the theme panel and it will work fine.

Not sure where the problem is. Maybe share your URL here with the tagdiv team to help you when they resume work from the weekend.

Hi,

Only when there is a background set any full width elements will be affected. I believe there is still a background color from what I can tell from the screenshots. If you want full width remove all backgrounds (images and colors)

Thanks
