Post templates in Post Settings, missing

A few weeks ago we lost access to the ‘Post Settings’ box when editing posts.

We can see the templates from the Theme panel, but not in the posts.

We have already tried deactivating and re-activating the plugins, but to no avail. What should we do?

Hi, Please update the solution here. There are a lot of people facing the same issue including us. It might help.
