how add post type in my primary themes…

To add new post types you will have to edit theme’s core files and add some code there. For more detail please check this link: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/register_post_type Note that adding new post types it’s a task which involve good coding skills and also some customizations.
If you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you as we can’t offer customization services at the moment.

Is there a certain plugin that you would recommend for this instead of editing the files?

We didn’t tested any plugin with a similar functionality and we can’t make any recommendation in this regard. You can do a search online and look for some plugins which manage post types then try a few of them with the theme but we can’t guarantee that they will work fine.

Did you added any terms in genre taxonomy? Genre is not a category, it is a custom taxonomy so in order to have some posts displayed you have to create terms for it: http://screencast.com/t/RxpmUJhTi3V

I have another question .. where is the functionality Featured Video. I can not find and will add it in custom post type 🙁

The theme was not intent to display featured videos on custom post types. This feature works only with posts. To achieve that you will have to customize theme’s code and add support for featured videos on custom post types.
That is a very complex task which involve good coding skills and many customizations to be achieved. We can’t offer customization services at the moment so if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.
