Hello –
Can you pls guide as to what steps to be done post upgrade to newspaper there so that my sites ranking is not affected or the traffic is not affected.
I have been using twenty ten theme since 2011 / all-in-one-seo plugin
(xml-sitemaps etc ) what needs to be done?

If you want to update the theme, we recommend doing this via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. For more references in this regard, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Our Seo recommended plugin is Seo Yoast.
