I have found that the number of Page Views within Google Analytic is very different from the number generated by the theme with the Post View option enabled. On the site I see about 4000 views, while on Google Analytics are 1200 views.
How do the views calculate the theme? Why this difference?
I have to understand why Thank you.

The counter is updated with each page load.
For example: press F5 (reload page in browser) = +1 Post Counter.

Also, depending on how your server is setup, the ‘hit counter’ on the page may count ‘bots’ visiting your site, which Google Analytics will filter out, or identify as such.
