When I click the print button, it adds a blank column down the right side of the post.

Yeah that could work, but is cumbersome. Wondering why it doesn’t just fill the page like the website actually displays.

It is implemented like this, which design to display when you print in the file called “print.less”. If you want to modify that, then this will require custom work which is not covered by the support team.
