After the last update 4.4 of wordpress i have serious problems in some photos in different news widgets in front page. PLEASE fix it!
Did you clear all your caching? (if using any caching plugins you must always clear caching before/after major updates). Did you try resaving the home page modules to clear transients? Clear your browser caching? These are most common causes. If you’re using any plugins like Jetpack’s image optimizer (Photon), try turning that OFF. If you’re using any other plugin that changes content on the fly (such as a “rocket” plugin orservice, you need to cleasr/reset that for new updates).
When i deactivate photon the problem partly sovled. I still have issues with some modules in front page as pictures DO NOT have the proper dimensions (the seem smaller than normal).
But i realy need photon because it saves a lot of bandwidth. Do not forget that the problem came after updating the theme in the last version. You realy need to do some changes….

Please try to disable all the active plugins, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. You have to regenerate the thumbs for the images with the Force Regenerate plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/ Most of our clients who have used this plugin were satisfied.
Unfortunately, the Photon plugin does not work with our theme and we do not recommend it. Also, this is known to be a problematic plugin and you should find an alternative.
