Problem Installing Visual Composer

Hello, just bought your theme and every time I try to install the visual composer plugin it fails and gives me this message:

Installing Plugin: Visual Composer
The Showcase Visual Composer plugin requires Visual Composer installed and activated.
The plugin does not have a valid header.
Downloading install package from http://evolutioncounseling.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/plugins/js_composer.zip…

Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

Destination folder already exists. /home/content/37/8111337/html/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/

Plugin install failed.

Hi,

Please try to upload the plugin via ftp, you can find it in the /plugins folder from files that you download from themeforest – http://screencast.com/t/9vFPNCUhK0 Let me know how it goes!

Hi,

Just connect to your server, go to the /plugins folder, unzip the Visual Composer upload it – http://screencast.com/t/kD3YPsT9nj
It is similar procedure like update the theme via ftp, but instead just upload the Visual Composer in the plugins folder – https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Please let me know how it goes and provide more details how you tried to update. Do you get the same error like above?

I have the same problem as the OP and I’ve just tried the solution you have posted here and still can’t get any plugins to install. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

@RWBest Do you get an error when you try to install the Visual Composer? It can be easily installed from here – http://screencast.com/t/lD8uuk1Z Please provide more details if you get any error.
If you still have issues please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and ftp access so we can take a look, also paste a link to this topic so we can know who you are and what your issue is.
