I would like to modify the following sections:
PICKS EDITOR
POPULAR POSTS
POPULAR CATEGORY
How can I do that?

Those are standard versions. You cannot edit the content of it. You can translate those titles by going into Theme Panel – Translations.
In order to have those options editable you will have to create a Cloud template footer and edit it to your taste using the tagDiv Composer.

No sorry, do you want to tell me that I’m obliged to let people see the POPULAR CATEGORY or POPULAR POSTS or EDITOR PICKS (which I don’t even know what they are)? Seems a bit absurd to me like what isn’t?

You guys really have to produce a better tutorial than the link above about how to edit the footer content (as described in this support question). The link to the tutorial showing how to create a footer template, honestly is not sufficient to do it properly.
I gave up and just used Style 5 of the default that came with this theme, and this is good enough for me.
I love this theme, but some of the how-to’s are lacking detail.
