I am trying to change the ads in my wordpress with Newspaper Theme.
The website is currently showing ads, however when I try to change it (either change the image of the ad or activate a new ad), even though the system gives me a positive feedback, as if the change was done, when I go to the website I see that no new ad is being shown and everything remains as it was before.
Currently I am using the version 8.8.2. So I tried to update to the new version, using the envato market plugin (that I had used before and updated with sucess). However when I click to update I get the feedback “problem to update: it was not possible to create the directory” (I translated from my language).
So is the problem that I am facing related to the old version? If not, how can I test and solve this problem?
Is this problem with updating theme from EnvatoMarket frequent? I am really afraid of messing up with the theme and customization if I have to delete and install a new theme.

Notice that we do not have any bad reports regarding on Ads with the new theme version, sorry! Regarding on theme update, we recommend using only the FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. ->> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
