Problem with Facebook sharing

Hi, I’m having a problem sharing posts to Facebook.

Instead of just sharing the title, image and post content, it also shares the author info, date, and the text ‘share on Facebook tweet on Twitter’ is all being included in the shared post.

What can I do to fix this? Thanks

Probably part of the plugin you’re using (e.g., Jetpack).

You can easily see what FB should be capturing by looking at the actual Open Graph (OG) meta data in head of your post (simply do ‘view source’).

Hi!

Is there a way to remove categories from previewing articles when we share them on Facebook? Without having to buy the premium version of Yoast Seo Modifying some file

Hi,

The Yoast SEO plugin has control regarding Facebook share content. It will display the data automatically, or you can manually enter it for each post

The theme does not have any specific settings in this matter, it is done with the SEO plugin.
