I have been trying to use the Newspaper Mobile Theme for two weeks straight now. At first, the mobile theme wasn’t working, but after changing the Desktop Pages template from the Cloud Library, it worked (only temporarily). Now each time I make the smallest of changes to the site, it goes back to the Desktop site, and I can’t fix it unless I activate another WordPress theme, then switch back to Newspaper. Even creating a blog post resets the theme to the Desktop site every time. This is very frustrating. Somebody, please help.
It has gotten worse, mobile homepage is no longer displaying visuals, just static td code. Check image below: https://www.flickr.com/photos/195484089@N05/52461659209/in/dateposted-public/ post pages are working fine but not the homepage… I have no issue with Desktop site
Can’t leave the site looking like that while waiting for help. I have deleted Newspaper theme and re-installed it. The Mobile theme including the problematic homepage is now displaying Desktop site… I think I can work with that until you find a solution for me
Hello,
The site is looking like that because some theme plugins are disabled. Please check for tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, and possible tagDiv Standard Pack. Once you identify the plugin that has been disabled, just enable it back and the problem should be resolved!
Let us know the results!
Thank you!
I checked, all the required plugins are installed and enabled… The issue I’m having right now is just the Mobile Homepage, no matter what I do to fix it, it’s displaying the Desktop site, all other mobile pages are working just fine. I have tried disabling and re-enabling the tagDiv Mobile Theme several times, sometimes it fixes it temporarily, other times it just won’t work. Please help
Hi sonicstadia,
If this is displaying sometimes, but not all the time, then it can be from the cache. Do you have the mobile cache enabled? (https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ -> https://i.imgur.com/ftWFdTe.png)
Also, if you want we can take a look at this in private via email at contact@tagdiv.com where you can also provide wp-admin access so we can check all the settings and see if there is something that can interfere.
Thank you!
I have sent my WordPress admin login information to contact@tagdiv.com
