Hi!
I update theme on V11, I migrate my website on Cloudways (Vultr server). Today, when I try to update a page with Tagdiv composer, I can’t edit my “column text”, the WP Editor load and load and load … I’m on Chrome. I’ve some errors on Chrome dev console : http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2021/29/2/1626769890-capture-d-ecran-2021-07-20-a-10-30-51.jpg
Can you help me ? I try to delete my browser cache.
Hello!
It seems that the problem is because of some conflicts with Cloudways and blocks the WP Editor to load. Please check the settings and also our requirements: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thank you!
Hi! Thanks.
I read the requirements and everything is OK :/
No sorry, Everything is OK in terms of requirements but the problem is still there
Hi, problem solved!
I disabled all plugins (except Tagdiv plugins) because support thought it was a conflict with a plugin. It wasn’t, but when I tried to open the WP Editor again with few plugins I could see what the error was in the Chrome console. So it was an access problem (error 403). This put me on the track of the problem!
On Cloudways, you have several security options, including one that disables access to PHP files and their execution. So you have to allow this (I put a screenshot): http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2021/29/3/1626852888-capture-d-ecran-2021-07-21-a-09-34-38.jpg

The screenshot from Guillaume Guersan is no longer available, but the advice is still good all these years later, and it solved my problem.
For any Cloudways customers who are experiencing the issue of WP Editor being stuck in a loading loop. The first thing to check is that you need to have ‘Direct PHP Files Access’ turned on in your Cloudways Application Settings.
