Hello, I’m testing the new amp system with the mobile theme, but the amp pages on our site do not look as expected.
I also get the following message in the posts
Your site does not allow AMP to be disabled.
another problem was the increase in indexing errors of the AMP pages
Hi there,

Hi,
If you want to disable the amp you can check this settings from here and use another amp plugin -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CRvuTCVj or remove it from post/page from here https://www.screencast.com/t/BB733nLJudBi
Thank you!
Dear Calin,
Seems the question is not understood well.
There is bug in AMP or mobile theme. It doesn’t work as it should be. Homepage only show last articles not the 3 styled posts.
It’s not possible to disable AMP on pages (edit), message it’s not possible to disable AMP)
Your site does not allow AMP to be disabled.
The initial question of this post.

Hi Webagent05,
This https://www.screencast.com/t/s9vhLEx8Smx is a warning that you have activate this option -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6DWH6xgV8 and you can not longer deactivate the amp on post/page, this will do automatic, if you deactivate this option https://www.screencast.com/t/6DWH6xgV8 you’ll have again this option -> https://www.screencast.com/t/53Lam7ZfRh -> https://www.screencast.com/t/lT8KVP3FqyT
In order to have the 3 posts you’ll need to make sure that you have some post in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/44kBTEzkJNy

Hi there,
So when I disable the AMP settings (theme panel), than I have the option to enable or disbale the AMP on pages and keep AMP active on blog posts?
Did some tests and whatever I put the button in the theme panel (mobile theme amp), doesn’t make any difference.
I think there is still some work to do on the AMP functionality. Also the 3 posts and latest articles are a bit boring.
However is it even a question, … is there a future for AMP? If you ask me, stripping down pages to perform well = same result in performance. But AMP is not user friendly for content … if you ask me.
So my testing is just contribution to the theme development. I’m not into using AMP on production websites.
Hi,
The initial AMP plugin we released was designed based on the first version of the official AMP plugin for WordPress. Even though it was a tagDiv plugin, it still required the API of the official plugin. The changes came from the official plugin as they limited the theme support in the version we used and instead of updating it, they launched a new version with another, better implementation. They also announced the initial release will shortly become deprecated. This is why we decided to abandon our initial AMP plugin and use the new AMP implementation through the mobile theme. The new version required a specific theme for it as it would not have worked through the standard theme. There was no decision to take, unfortunately. If we have not made this step, soon the AMP plugin would have stopped working once the official AMP plugin implementation we used became deprecated.
You can activate and deactivate the amp on pages/post if you turn off the settings from theme panel>mobile theme , if you deactivate the amp plugin, this will not longer be available.
Thank you for your understanding!
Dear Calin,
I understand the situation. But if part of the base of your website is not AMP minded. For e.g. plugins used on pages, than the AMP is now … not what you need.
Further, … I like to provide my feedback and ideas for your theme. Because, … it’s a win-win situation. Your theme gets better and I don’t need to solve the issues or patch them.
Is there a place to share features and ideas in a more private sphere? To keep the forum clear and subject related?
Kind regards,
Webagent05
Hi,
You can write as on our email at contact@tagdiv.com , there you can share the features and ideas.
Thank you!
The new system is very nice, but some features don’t work on mobile pages, for example: WP Viral Quiz
How can we fix this?
example: http://bit.ly/2NZgNSD
I also face serious problems.
So I delete official AMP plugin and also disabled it in theme panel.
This new move is extremely bad and its useless. It creates more problems than benefiting users.
I miss using TagDiv AMP plugin, it was very good.
Hi,
Our developer team is working continue to make our theme better and to add new improves and fix the existential problems from our theme; the mobile theme with amp is one of them that are on the list to be improve and make it better.
@kuaza that plugins is not longer work on mobile because the new mobile theme with amp integrate try to make all the time the pages/post on AMP ( so you can navigate in amp posts ), the amp version is just a preview of post, you can not sent information in posts/page that’s way is not longer working, sorry!
@Confiqueror now the code that you set on amp need to be set in mobile amp ads -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Uug357Bi -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Thank you for your understanding
