1. How to hide published date that appear at homepage, category, related post and search result
2. How to set or resize width for content area to 500px only and 300px width at sidebar area?

1. There is a setting in the theme panel that will disable the date for all modules, and all blocks and grids at once, this setting – http://prntscr.com/obynbh
2. For the predefined post templates it is not possible by a theme setting. If you use cloud post templates, these can be edited with the composer, so it would be possible to set custom widths for the columns that contain the post content and sidebar
